We are excited to introduce our newest product that will be sold in all West Elm LOCAL California stores.
This is Substantial Living's original small batch, vegan, naturally fermented bottle of spicy pickled vegetable 'Achar'. Achar is the Indian term for pickled vegetables preserved with Ayurvedic spices, lemons and oil. Fermentation is one of the oldest scientific forms of naturally preserving food, resulting in bacteria that are not only good for your gut, but good for your brain.
This product is a great addition to a cheese plate with a simple cheddar and bread or crackers. There are no preservatives and all ingredients are local to San Francisco, probiotic and raw. The addition of Ayurvedic healing spices to the recipe is what makes this unique and absolutely delicious.
At Substantial Living, we believe that the way you eat reflects. Our recipes and design encourage making as much whole food from scratch inspired by scientific principles, introducing global spices that are good for our health and mind. We also believe that food can connect us to meaningfully to nature and to each other, sustainably, for lasting happiness and wellness.
We ship all throughout the United States, and internationally. Gracefully wrapped with a little note on the wellness benefits of fermented products infused with Ayurvedic global spices and a recommendations of my favorites way to eat Achar.
